The Department of Microbiology has organized an extension service for School students (1 to 5thstd) on 14.12.15 at Government Elementary School, Kangeyanallur. The students of B.Sc. III year Microbiology, DKM College for Women, actively participated in various kinds of activities. The details of the programs organized have been given below.

- Short film show on “A Journey to Microbial world”
- Games on “Diseases and Cleanliness”
- Model show on “Traffic Awareness”
- Short Film about “Dengue – Our Enemy”
