ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The college, established in 1972, has progressively expanded its academic programs. The Department of Mathematics introduced its undergraduate aided program in 1980, followed by an unaided undergraduate program in 2015. The postgraduate (PG) program began in 2007, while the M.Phil. program launched in 2012, and the Ph.D. program started in 2013. This growth reflects the Department’s commitment to higher education and research over the decades.
