Department of Commerce (Aided) has started Add On Course with UGC autonomous fund “certificate course in salesmanship”. It was inagurated on 20^th July 2015 Monday. The chief guest of the day was Dr. M. Anbalagan, Ph.D.,Retd. PG HOD of commerce, Voorhes college & Professor of Emeritus inaugurated the certificate course.
 
The Department of Commerce organized a special association meeting on “Changing contours and contemporary issues in accounting and taxation” the resource person of the day was Mr. D.K. Manoharan, Chartered accountant and C.J. Praven kumar, FCA. They inaugurated the programme and threw light on the various opportunities available to the commerce graduates after their degree.
