The Inauguration of the College Union and Investiture Ceremony was held on 20th July 2016.
Dr.P.N Sudha Principal welcomed the gathering and the guest of honor. She stressed the importance of clubs and associations in the holistic development of a student. D.K.M has 20 clubs and associations.
Dr. S. Syed Shafi, Ph.D., Professor & Head department of Chemistry, Thriuvalluvar University presided over the function. He delivered the inaugural address and he handed over the insignia to the respective leaders. Thus, the leaders took charge of their new offices from that day.
The college union inauguration was followed by freshers day and it turned out to be a memorable day in the life of every fresher at D.K.M. The Fresher’s day was a day that was filled with excitement, joy, music, enthusiasm, laughter and happiness.
