An Association meeting was organized by the  Department of Commerce(Aided) on 07.12.2017 thursday in D block conference hall. The meeting started at 10.15 am with Tamil Thai Vazlhthu. Dr.R.Padmaja, Associate Professor & HOD welcomed the gathering. Dr.A.Sudarvizhi introduced the theme of the association meeting to the audience. The Session started at 10. 30 am.

Dr.J.Srinivasan, Associate professor , Department of commerce, R.V.Government Arts college, chengalpet was the resource person of the day.He spoke on the topic “life skills”.  He narrated the need  of  various life skills required by an individual to be successful in the society. He highlighted the role of  various life skills like time management, stress management, better communication, managings interpersonal relationships, emotional balance, coping with stress, coping with emotions,critical thinking, analytical thinking etc. he explained the concept to the students with  various  videos and cartoons.  The students of I B.Com, II B.Com, III B.Com participated  and were benefited.

This was followed by the interaction session. The students raised many questions relating to managing time which was cleared by DR. J.Srinivasan with live examples. Dr.T.Bharathi proposed the vote of thanks. The meeting ended at 12.45 pm with National Anthem.
