History Association meeting was conducted on the topic ‘The Life History of Moulana Abul kalam Azad’’. The Chief Guest -Dr. K. Ameenal Bibi, Msc, Ph.D Associate Professor of Maths spoke about the contribution of Moulana Abul Kalam Azad, for the Development of Education, Science and Technology.

10.09.15 – Rally was conducted from Taulk Office to DKM College, Sainathapuram, and Vellore. Signature campaign was also conducted.   Rally was initiated by Rtn. R.K. Jaya Prakash, President, and Rotary club of Vellore Presidency. Dr. Zubaidha Sultha, Psychiatrist, Meenakshi Medical College, Kancheepuram interacted with the NSS volunteers on the topic “Reaching out & saving Life”.

Rotract club of DKMC organized world suicide prevention day programme on 10.09.15 along with Rotary club of vellore Presidency. The programme was started with Rally from taluk office to DKMC. Dr. Zubaida Sultana, Psychiatrist, Meenakshi Medical College and Research Institute, Mr. R. Chandrasekar, President, Udhavum Ullangal, Mr. Kannan President, Anbu illam took part in the programme.

‘Three days Workshop for Tamilisai’’ was organized by the Department of Tamil.

Department of Biotecnology organized Special Guest Lecture on the topic ‘biotechnology and environmental health’’ on 09.2015 at 10.30 a.m. in the D’Block Conference Hall. The Invited speaker and Resource person was Dr. Rajam Rajendran C, Assistant Professor School of Bioscience and Technology, VIT University, Vellore. More than 70 students were benefitted.

Department of Commerce organized Workshop on financial planning for young Investors on 04.09.2015. Chief Guest: Sabu addressed the gathering.

Chief Guest – Mr. V. K. Chamy, Member of Tamil Nadu Job awareness center, Madurai. He enlightened the students on How to apply for competitive examination and tips to clear the exam, number of vaccines in various Departments in the Central and the State Government. He also motivated them to write Varies competitive Examinations and face the interviews.

Faculty Development Programme

One day faculty development programme was organized in our college on 16-06-2014. Around 100 staff members participated in the programme. It was conducted by Varnaaz Pvt. Ltd. Bangalore. The company head Mr. Ramani venkat, B.E., M.B.A., NLP trainer and motivational speaker addressed the gathering.
